Program Details

The IPDF provides an opportunity for researchers to work on cutting-edge projects in a leading academic environment. The fellowship is open to Indian nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), and foreign nationals.

Eligibility and Application

Candidates must hold a PhD or have submitted their thesis and demonstrate a strong research record. A consent letter or email from an IISc faculty member willing to host the candidate is required.

  • Research plan (up to 500 words).

Applications are submitted online via the IISc Post-Doctoral portal. Reviews occur quarterly (March 31, June 30, September 30, December 31), with decisions communicated within 45 days.
